- How do I know who my dinner dates are?
We'll email you at least 24 hours before your simplydinner with where to go and the names of your dinner dates. The dinner dating table will always be booked under 'simplydinner'. - How many friends can I take dating?
You can take either one friend or two friends dating with you. Simply select either the one friend or two friends option when you sign-up for one of our blind dating dinners. - Why do my friends have to be the same sex?
We always aim to send groups of friends dating together, so if you've signed up with two friends we'll send you dinner dating with another trio of friends. This is more achievable if we have groups of same sex friends to match, ie three girl friends and three guy friends. - Do you organise dinner dating outside of London or does simplydinner only cater for London dating?
At the moment we are exclusively a London dating service, and all of our dinner dates take place in central London restaurants. These are always near tube stations and are very accessible if you are travelling in. We have plans to expand outside of London dating in the future. - How does simplydinner cater for mature dating?
Firstly, there are no age restrictions on registering for a general dinner topic, unless it is an age specific topic. We group dinner dates into groups of similar ages. So for example, if we have 20 registrants for a certain dinner, spanning several age groups, we will make 3 or 4 dinners out of this, grouping the most appropriate dinner dates together. Therefore mature daters will be grouped accordingly. Secondly, we additionally cater for mature dating by having exclusively mature dating dinner topics. - What happens if you have an odd number of dinner dates signing up for a certain dinner?
We always try to fill any gaps - you may for example receive a last minute invitation to attend a blind date that we have a space on. But occasionally if the numbers just don't add up we may have to remove a guest from a dinner date. All of the restaurants we choose for our blind dating dinners are centrally located, within Zone 1 of the tube network. You will be emailed with specific map and address details of the restaurant where your London dating will take place. The restaurants are always near tube stations and easy to find. - I live outside London. How late does public transport run and will I make the last tube/train?
We arrange most of our London dating dinners at 8pm, which allows for a leisurely dinner dates experience without any panic about missing public transport deadlines. No problem! Just email us with any message and contact details you'd like us to pass on, and of course which of your dinner dates you'd like us to contact! - What do I do if I need to cancel?
Simply email us as soon as possible and let us know. Please make sure you let us know at least 72 hours before the blind date is due to take place, so that we can offer the place to someone else. We will always try to place you on another dinner dates booking if you let us know in good time. - Is there an age limit for dinner dates?
simplydinner caters for mature dating as well as younger daters. We will always group dinner guests who have registered for a particular dinner according to age. Plus there are also specific mature dating dinner topics to choose from. - How do you decide on dinner topics?
